With this build have you also implemented the fps limt patch that was on google code svn (so games don't run too fast)? http://code.google.com/p/pcsxgc/issues/detail?id=14#c6

Also there is a patch from way back for usb 2.0 support if you can work out how to add it to the latest build: http://code.google.com/p/pcsxgc/issues/detail?id=5

Emukidd already posted on emulatemii regarding those adapters...

"The issue with the PSX -> Gamecube controller adapters is that they don’t map all the buttons properly as they are still limited by the number of available buttons on the GC controller to map to (if that makes sense).

Look here for example:
http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/9460/4802bm.jpg

They are unable to map all the L/R buttons so they map two PSX buttons to one GC button (bad design imho)." ...so I guess the classic controller is really the best option.

The problem is that since the gamecube controller has less buttons that the PS1 one, they don't use all PS1 buttons (select is unmapped and L2/R2 are both mapped to Z trigger)

Select is Z-Start I think. I was playing Tenchu and I could pull up the map with Z-Start.

what applications are you guys using to convert original psx games to .bin?

one guy mentioned ultraiso but the trial version only allows you to convert up to 300mb...

You mean from .iso to .bin? I heard MagicISO works. Personally, I just get direct downloads of .bin files and never convert them. I can't share the website, though, due to GBAtemp policy.

I'm talking about the above PS controller adapter: if you press Select on the PS controler, it does nothing.
If it was "connected" to both Z and Start GC buttons, it would perfectly fit with WiiSX but it's not the case: you have to hold L2 (or L1, don't remember) and START on the PS controller to emulate the SELECT button.

MagicISO works perfectly just open app and select file convert, select ISO to convert then select bin/cue as covert to and is will create both bin and cue files for you.
Try and get bin/cue files if DL as there will be a big difference in file sizes to ISO's. Much as 100-200mb on some games.

I have no prolem with bin/cue. They runs fine on WiiSX beta 1 I test is Megaman 8.bin/Megaman 8.cue. I dont need to convert them to ISO at all. Nope.

No bin/cue files are fine, just ISO needs to be converted.

Oh yeah.

Is there a PSX memory card manager? I don't really have a problem with memory card space but I'm interested in how i can access it or move/copy/delete certain save files.

you ould just use a game with memory card management in it.

SLotman: is it possible to hide the fps counter from your CC modification?

Thank you.

Edit: oh well forget it..... just tried your version and it's slow as hell.

it seems adding the CC support slow the emulator A LOT.

I'm glad you also agree that these are the two biggies to to try and get sorted right now.
