Anyone get this yet? How about everyone that got the Download Assistant Channel by "other" means... has anyone been able to download it yet? Not sure if its my "free" WiFi, but I'm getting error 204036 (that's from the "other" means of getting the DAC)

I am having the same issue, It keeps telling me when i want to update that transaction failed error 204036 wait and then try again. I dont know whats going on either?

I got the channel early last night (first hours of 12/5). The installer channel said the channel is still not available, so I went into the shop, went to the "Titles You've Downloaded" section and there it was, listed as "New!" and "Updated!"

Channel works great, was able to send voice clips to some contacts worldwide.

Still it gives me the error i dont know whats going on with the update process? Maybe it will only let you download but wont let you install the update because you got the channel through someone else? dont know

I installed mine fine. Have you guys updated the wii shop channel? Well that would only apply to people who got the DAC in wad form.

My shop channel is up to date i think its the problem where some people like me and other who downloaded through someone is probably having problems. The only way to fix it someone has to upload a updated version of wii speak to all the folks who downloaded but its no use right now if you dont got wii speak mic

I have the same problem here and I have tried to download with my download ticket and it gives me this error also.

Guess its something wrong with their servers and all.

Use Waninkoko's NAND dumper tool To dump it

Hey guys, I just realized that I had the WiiSpeak .wad on my SD card, but I forgot it was there. So I didn't install the .wad until about 5 minutes ago. I go to start the channel, and when it takes me to the update page, it says "this software is currently unavailable". Am I too late?

How do you dump channels? Ill do it if someone tells me how.

first run wii_fs dumper (this doesnt just dump the nand, it does the filesystem too!)

then use tf wad packer http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=88529

if that doesn't work use another wad packing tool (bit more complicated though)

I just bought the wii speak about an hour ago for my kid and was going to give it to him for xmas... so no one has a good wad of it yet? If you do could you please..cough cough...PM me?

If that is directed to me.. it's because I have 2 wii's and one wiispeak.. and the ticket is only good for one...if you really need to know...

... i couldn't figure out why mine wasn't working, so I deleted with anytitle deleter and tried reinstalling from shop channel, but it didn't show up there even though i download it through it... and usually when i delete the tickets in my console the shop channel still knows i've downloaded it. so now i'm screwed because I basically don't have what I payed for. :|

I went to titles you've downloaded and WiiSpeak Channel isn't there.

Is he full of it or am I right in that I am too late in installing the .wad?
