Hacking Wiiscrubber 1.4

ok so heres the deal my wii run all games via preloader .27 all worked great formatted the wii and bang it FUBAR no zelda loading no homebrew loading so beware people preloader isnt the best SOFT MOD about Gamma is all we need now from the powers to be is a Omega that runs multi partition of Wii games and perhaps a plug in for GC Loader aswell would advice all people to stay clear of preloader....

no health screen just preloader menu seems the 290 system menu wad gets currupted with preloader i.e you CANT use system format you need to use wad manager to install you system menu then PERHAPS format but hey non the less one bricked wii makes a good door stop and wife bought me a new one hahahaha so not totally all lost

Someone on Elotrolado have a similar problem.

With SoftMii installed format the wii and get a brick.

soory the title was for hinting what gamma would need to be in tandem with 1.4 sorry for all confusion but there is no need to be aggressive i was just warning people of the implications of PRELOADER

Preloader is something else than the softmii package...

Only, preloader is in the package...

IDK what happens if you format a preloader only Wii?

What does Wiiscrubber 1.4 have to do with bricking your Wii or Gamma loader. The softchip multiloader mod works perfectly fine with Wiiscrubber 1.4 for loading multi-iso Wii games, you don't need gamma, you just need to NOT brick your Wii.

Basicly you can say (with a few exceptions..):

If something goes wrong, it's your fault!!!

You know what can happens if you install SoftMii or other things. Crediar himself told that Preloader can brick your Wii, but I never heard of any brick, caused by installing Preloader...so, that's the risk you take with installing it, although it shouldn't happen something if you follow the rules...

Anyways: Can you say what you exactly want? As I get this your Wii is fixed...so what is the sense in this Topic? is there one? Do you want to warn us from not using Preloder?

And I think it's important, giving that you have bricked your Wii.
So, summing up:
You have installed preloader and softmii.
Everything all right.
You decide to format your Wii.

yep that about sums it up Dotter...sorry about punctuation, seems my hands type faster then my brain sometimes.
oh and of course i woke up this morning and thought i KNOW i'll brick my wii today...dont be so padantic, i was just making people aware that although it was ALL working when i formatted it it only loads preloader tryed to install boot.dols and boot.elfs but it just hangs, heaven forbid any of you so called techies brick you wii or i you do hope you get the same reply ITS YOUR FAULT, i never once implied it was the creators fault i was just making people aware of what seems to be a flaw..
the tilte 1.4 is implimented to multi discs the only run through multiboot boot.dol it would be nice to have it installed with Gamma (formatting SAFETY) and for it to auto detect ios249 giving people gamm channel multigame discs.

I would like to appologize to you forthe hammering that you are recieving....
from what i read you did not infact state that preloader bricked your wii...
so no reason for the flamming...

also if you are infact from the usa... like the flag shows then
why on earth did you install system menu v 290 you should have installed 289...
290 is the pal 3.2 and 289 is the us 3.2....

so if thats the case you region bricked the wii....

sounds like a glitch you could always use anyregion changer 1.1bm5 to fix things...
