Hardware WiiRemote sound problem

one of my wiiremotes is experiencing technical difficulties, the sound is very distorted, it does on and off constantly and doesnt give the right sound at most times, so my question is does anyone know what i would have to do to check this out, what i could do to fix it, or perhaps point me in a different direction where i could look for information, on whats controlling the sound inside the remote and what i should check out

If you want to fix it then you can't. I can't even open the damn thing. Are you sure that you're batteries are OK?

im sure id be able to open em, and umm...im using rechargeable ones, that could be something i could look into, tho im using the same batteries in my other wiimote and its workin fine
