My friend just attempted to solder a Wiinja Deluxe, and something went wrong.

This is what he said:

QUOTE said:
"I just chipped my wii with a Wiinja deluxe and whenever I put any type of game in a Message comes up right away saying...

An Error has occured. Press The Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the wii console on and off and tefer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting."

He has run the config disc, I believe he did v2, he didn't do the upgrade with dvd9 support, the one before that.
Original games or backup games do not work for him.

For some reason, all of a sudden his wii started turning on and off about an hour after the install :S

QUOTE"Im pretty sure I didn't spill any solder.
Could it be heat damage?
Because I was using only a 12 watt soldering Iron and It took a while to make the points solder able."

He was on V3.0E before the install if that helps.

Anyone know what could have gone wrong? Any help is appriciated!

recheck all the points, and also see if he soldered them to the right spots on the wiinja deluxe disc.
when you install a wiinja deluxe it should play games from your own region just fine.
you have to use update 3 to make it regionfree.
