Hacking Wiinja Del. SSBB DVD9 Fix Imminent

Well after havin a bit of a barney on a thread over at the Wiinja forums, it was revealed about 10 minutes ago that the Admin (who i'm lead to believe is also a coder) has managed to fix the DVD9 boot problem.

No more information as yet, but we'll see soon enough!

Yeah just seen this, looks by the video it's gonna be a patch instead of a chip update. Just waiting for more info at the mo.

Interesting. People on those forums are speculating that it may be an ISO patch.
If you watch the video, the drive says D2C, but there are obviously only 5 pins attached...

Either way, hard to tell. But very interesting.

ISO patch or not, it could even help out the makers of other modchips if they can figure out what was done.
