Hello! I want to ask a question about my Wiimote's problem
So, I have a WiiMote that works perfectly for like some years until some minutes ago, but then just now the WiiMote started to have a problem
The WiiMote buttons perfectly fine so I can scroll through the Wii Menu with + and - button but then the pointer is missing
I tried another WiiMote and the pointer is aligned perfectly but not for my WiiMote
I have cleaned the black part on the top of the WiiMote with a tissue and lens cleaner spray plus changing the battery into the good quality one but still the cursor doesn't appear
although the WiiMote's buttons is allright
I have tried any methods on the Nintendo Website and it results none.

Anyone have a solution for this? Thank you! :D

If other Wii remotes work, then it likely means the sensor in your remote that picks up the IR lights in the sensor bar is either obfuscated or has outright stopped working. I don't know offhand if that part can be replaced, nor for how much it would be.

Edit: Looking up a replacement IR camera... the part is soldered to the board. Not exactly something you can clip on or off. Unless you have the tools to replace something like that, the remote may now strictly only be a non-pointer remote. :(

Oh, I see. So, I have to buy a new WiiMote for that. Thank you for your help!
