Someone aughta make a Java NES emulator (that uses hosted ROM images - homebrew of course!) with support for these keys!

Hmm, that wouldn't be to usefull, since the Wii Browser, doesn't support Java.

wiinintendo tooDoes NOT support QuickTime, Windows Media, Java, or PDF
Should be made in Flash then, but as flash is vector based and such, I don't know how possible/hard this will be...

That's quite impossible since Flash is made of Action Script, which with you can only script flash control. It's not a programming language.

it does support Javascript, though

people who are registered at digg should digg that story, so it'll be brought to the attention of some web designers and flash game makers

I heard the Wii browser does handle javascript - and handles it extremely well, though there are some limitations/missing features since Nintendo were extremely cautious about it in case it could be used to exploit the Wii.

wait.. give an example. (FLASH)
like
on (Key.isDown(Key.175)){
would be when the up key is pressed?
Im also supposing that the wiimote driver is required for this to work.

Yes, but JavaScript is something totally different then Java.
Java is an applet based programming language, which is used for example for Mobile Phone applications, Bittorrent clients, and other serious apps and games.
JavaScript is a webbased language which is mostly used for simple things in websites, like forms handling or at most some simple games.
If JavaScript is used for games, which the web was not invented for, this will be much slower then a Java applet which is just a part in the website using an engine which is made for more serious applications like games.
If that same JavaScript also needs to do difficult things like emulating, then I don't think it'll be possible to run this on an acceptable speed, even if it's only NES emulating...
