Gaming Wiimote broken some help plz

The small piece of plastic that hides the wiimote sensor at the front got broken when the wife smashed it against the dogs haed while playing tennis

anyone know where i can get a spare one ? dont really want to buy a new wiimote just because of this 1 piece.

Lol without that black bit the wiimote jumps all over the screen.

Fixed now using one of those cheapo plastic steering wheels from fleabay that we had. Removed the *purple* dunno why its purple bit and stuck it in the wiimote, not a perfect fit but the wiimote doesnt jump anymore.

p.s the dog is my staffie who is BIIG he ran into a car head first once, got up shook his head then carried on running the car door had a massive dent in it.

AFAIK nintendo (or anyone) does not sell the piece you are talking about, it's not listed @ their store

the only thing I can think of is to call them directly and ask about it

if they do sell you one it shouldn't be more than a buck or two

their replacement part site is here.
