I just don't see how he's going to use Anyregion changer sense he's on 3.4, can he exactly do that, or don't 3.4 block that. Just wondering

Wow. Just having read that.. He did pretty much every single thing not to do to your wii. Im surprised you didnt top it off with a bad wad for the finale

Well i was planning on having a bath with it, but thats only if this NTSC disc doesnt fix it...
And whats this about swapping drives i hear?

How does swapping drives work, what does it do, how hard is it to do?

by "swapping drives" I mean...find a friend without a chip, and convince them (which is only gonna be harder if you tell them how much you messed up your wii) to let you open their wii, and swap dvd drives temporarily to boot your NTSC disc, so you don't have to mess with soldering/desoldering your chip anymore. if you're a solder-beast or you have a clip, prolly not an issue.

all wii dvd drives are interchangeable and function identically.

alternatively, if your friend has a currently PAL wii sysmenu, you can use your drive in their wii to load up an NTSC config disc for your chip (showing it as PAL, of course), flash the NTSC firmware to the chip, and then it won't function on his/hers, but you can swap it back into yours and have a fully NTSC wii.....prolly only slightly easier, and you end up with an NTSC modded wii instead of a pal one.

Ok well i have a clip, I bought an NTSC game, so if that doesnt work then i'll just end up sending it to nintendo, and probably end up having to buy a replacement (for $250)....
