Recientemente estoy editando un tema para wiiflow 5.4.8.

El problema es que al crear un nuevo botón, específicamente para roms msu1, no sé cómo cambiar el nombre del fondo de este nuevo botón.

Platform.ini commands the relationship between background name and Magic Number. So Magic Number has to match between the MSU1.ini file and the one which is determined in platform.ini.
