Hacking wiiflow random stack dumps

ok all i need some help here i am trying to change over to wiiflow however I get random stack dumps on loading or when scrolling through emulator covers. but I am not sure where to start to debug the issue. though i did swap to a powered HDD that i had used on the wii before so that I could rule out the portable one I was using
