Dearest GBAtemp,

I am kindly requesting some help, I've messed up my Ninetendo Wii and I've got friends coming over this weekend. Would be great to have it working so i can play some computer games with them.

I softmodded my Wii and had it running excellently, playing Wii backups from the SD card using wiiflow.

Then I bought a 1tb external WD hard drive, that worked and had backups loading on USB Loader GX.

Then I got greedy and tried to install the wads from the "WiiFlow 4 The Masterpiece Pack by Abz" .

This has fucked everything up.

Now when i load backups from wiiflow they just black-screen.

USB Loader GX can't see my hard drive any longer (wiiflow can see the hard drive, just cant load them).

Tried going back to basics, following hackmii & various tutorials to install the cIOS IOS things again as I assumed that they had been broken by the wiiflow master pack and that i could just re-hack my wii to get it working again but its not worked.

Below is the SyscheckGX feedback (when I used regular syscheck it would always hang when checking the iOS)

sysCheck v2.1.0b19 by Double_A and R2-D2199 Nano

If anyone could kindly spot what is wrong and how I might be able to fix it I would be very grateful.

Ok so I got back from work.
  1. Deleted all the IOS's and everything that I could
  2. Installed normal wii firmware from the wiifit + retail disk
  3. Did a full clean ModMii installation
Still same issues:
  • Blackscreen when loading wiiflow games.
  • USB Loader GX can't see the hard drive.
Please can anyone help?

STOP WHERE YOU ARE! Do you have a NAND backup from before you tried to install all those wad files (with everything in good working order) via bootmii? If so, I recommend just restore your NAND if you're able to. Blindly removing stuff can result in a full or semi brick

you had d2x v8 installed, thats pretty old.

install d2x v10. try setting wiiflow to force 249 in the start up settings.

Do not ever delete things. Overwriting is all that is needed.
