Hello Everybody,

I'm kinda sorry for being here bothering you for the N°100000000 time, but to me hacking this damn Wii seems impossible... and the fun fact is that I am a software engineer :( lol
Still got to say I am a real noob in hacking Wii, so I invoke the power of the gods of this forum. I have damn read every single post.....

My situation is this:
- Very old Wii
- Hacked 10 years ago or more
- Updated all using the resources on this site + web + Wii.guide
- Installed Prilloader
- Using an old 2GB sdCard
- Only once USB loader show me games (still wasn't able to start), other times Usb loader fall back to the channel list
- Wiiflow always shows me games, but I am unable to load them.
- I am trying with 2 different USBs, both on FAT32 one is old and 32GB Sandisk, the other is new and 128GB Sandisk.

Only once I managed to load a game properly with Wiiflow. Then I tried again after restarting the console and didn't work anymore.
The only successful hit was forcing on game settings to IOS 249 with beta 53 on the old USB 32GB.
The game started was Animal Hospital (only 450MB).

I tried to reinstall CIOS many times, tried the beta versions 53 and 52.

Here is my latest SysCheck on beta 53. Hope some good men could help me.

With love,
Max

Hello,

given your syscheck report, you have version 10 beta 53 alt.

recommend==>I suggest you install the d2x cios in version 10 beta 52 .

then you use usb keys for the wii, it's not the best.

I suggest a FAT32 external hard drive and you'll be fine.:yaywii:

concerning your USB keys, you can format them FAT32 OR WBFS with "wii backup manager" and see the result?

Myself, I tested USB keys and that I often concluded with a failure,
2-(6).gif
hence the interest of an external hard drive.

what version of wiiflow are you using? ===> update wiiflow if necessary.

Thanks for the answer Jeannotte!
About modmii, yesterday I tried it, but it couldn't download certain cIos... I tried modmii skin with the wizard and the modmii classic. Neither of this worked properly.

Thanks, I'll try for version 52 again and I'll try USB formatted with wii backup manager!

In case it won't work, could you provide me a link to buy a proper hdd you are kinda sure it's gonna work? Thanks! I'll probably buy it.

Have a nice day! I'll give you an update asap :)

Massimo

Ok thanks! I've been able to download from Modmii, but actually I needed a patch for Modmii found on their discord since orginal version it's bugged.

From ModMii I got Yawmm. Tried to install it, but on homebrew I see the screen flicker... I installed cIos needed (version 52) with the old Wad manager I had installed.

Still nothing is working.
- Wiiflow upgraded from a black screen upon loading games to restart itself.
- UsbLoader gx is not showing me games
- Cgb loader shows me games but it's stuck in "game loading..."

So I'll buy for sure an HDD WD and I'll keep you updated.

But I Have a last question, actually there is installed ios236, could it bring some problems since it shouldn't be needed anymore?

Thanks for your time & keep up with the good work!

Hello,

No

The IOS 236 is a modified version of the IOS 36, the IOS 236 has all the rights to write or delete in the NAND of the wii
