Is there a way to set up a global favorites menu, shows your favorite games from Wii, NES, Gamecube, etc. all in one menu. There is a global "plugins" menu, but there are so many ROMs and such it always crashes.

no global favorites. wiiflow first creates a list containing all the games from all the sources you select and then filters that list depending on if favorites are on or if categories are set or a game has parental lock or whatever. so if you have a lot of games then wiiflow will still crash because of the list that is made before it goes thru the filtering.
your way would mean wiiflow would have to create a list based on the games listed under favorites in gameconfig1. wiiflow isn't coded for that.
