Noob question time! I've never really modded a Wii before, or anything else for that matter, so this is all new to me.

I followed the guide at wii.guide to install homebrew with letterbomb, priiloader, cIOS, and wiiflow, and then used Wii Backup Manager to get a wbfs file of wii fit plus onto the sd card (trying to get it to work for significant other's mom as her old wii stopped reading disks and this seemed like the best solution)

I've tried changing the wiiflow startup settings on and off force cios and changing revision, as some other threads said to try, and changing the revision of the game itself to 249, 250, and 251. All but 251 send me to a black screen saying "Exception (DSI) Occured" with a bunch of other text. 251 just sends me right back to the wii menu no matter what I try.

I'm kind of at a loss and really want to get this working for her. Anything else I should try? Do I just have a bad file?

Oop update: got it working by trying a USB with NTFS. For some reason the game either didn't wanna work off the SD or with FAT32

Hyped to have it going now!

Out of curiosity was this a flash drive? It's interesting because we usually recommend formatting these kinds of drives (if they don't work with fat32) as wbfs, but maybe ntfs also succeeds where fat32 fails in these kinds of situations

Be careful with ntfs btw, writing to ntfs (I. E. Ripping games) isn't perfect and could corrupt the data on the drive, be sure to have a backup of anything you really care about just in case
