Your telling me. I spent my only day off all day trying to figure this out and still only at square one. I tried reinstalling all the d2x10alt cIOS, changing ini, boot older and newer WiiFlow revs, reviewing the ini files, even tried a different hard drive. I can't for the life of me get this to work no more.

What sized drive are they running on?

A 32gb Flash Drive which the roms ran slow off of and a 2GB SD card which seemed to improve the speed, both with 32kb clusters.

Again, I didn't experience any speed or freezing problems with the standalone emulator apps, just wiiflow plugin versions when loading roms off a USB.

Tried a stable build? 4.2.1, as long as your magic#, rompath, coverfolder, Arguments and filetypes are set correctly in your ini file I don't see why WiiFlow wouldn't see your plugins

Yeah I tried that too. But when I did, the background was a huge white block with a big blurry cursor icon with all the same results.
I want to upload pics to show you guys but I'm using my mobile wifi from my celly til I get the internet turn on here.

So u tried the stable build w/o the SD card in your Wii, cuz it sounds like it was looking for files it couldn't find, like what happens when it tries to read off the SD when files are on HDD.
That's what it's doing. Trying to read off SD instead of HDD. I took the SD out and can't get it to go back to usb1. I got the WiiWare's and GC working on r1043 finally. I just removed the source.ini. When I get it to say install game or select partition, I select usb1 and then it resets back to WiiFlow. I doubled checked the ini file in apps/wiflow and it reads dir_plugins=usb1:/wiiflow/plugins

Ima try this 4.2.1 tho. The one I tried was 4.2.2

Fix94 mentioned a long time ago that support for USB flash drives is pretty bad. I've verified that with not so good luck with a bunch of different sticks.

I found that formatting it as a WBFS volume and using an SD card to hold the apps/wiiflow folders works well.

Alright, thanks I'll keep that in mind.

I just deleted it off the Wii's memory and still no luck. If I had extracted it to nandemu, which folder would it be in.. anyone know??

Could it possibly be a theme issue with outdated themes?

Hi guys, quick question. I'd like to i stall WiiFlow or USB Loader GX to play VC, WiiWare and GC games. I already have CFG USB Loader and was wondering if I need any additional custom IOS' for these or would I already have them installed when I installed CFG USB Loader. If I need to install more, will they interfere with my CFG USB Loader set up?

If you have a recent cIOS (10 or 1.1) with bases 56, 57 and 58 installed in slots 249, 250 and 251 you should be ok. I believe you may also need 58 installed for some of the old games.

GameCube games require DIOS MIOS or DIOS MIOS Lite installed depending on if you are running from SD or hard disk.

Im using Abz's 1073 Mod Full Pack and i still get covers stretched out for emulators.......mainly Nes,Snes,GB,GBC,GBA emulators i deleted my old Cache, did a fresh install and keep getting the same results???

Are the covers in jpeg or png format? There remains (unless I'm mistaken) a problem with jpg and it can't be sorted out with a cache delete either. Convert your files to png in bulk and you should be fine (png is better anyway, but let's not start that argument up again - it's not just this place where I've argued about that  )

You're putting the full covers under the Boxcovers folder, not the Covers folder, correct? Also, did you try other Emuflows? Did you go into the actual cache folder and clear cover cache from there?

Yup in Boxcovers and then in each respective folder for each Emu....i have double checked all my .ini's for cover path and all direct to the right place....also yeah first thing i did was delete cache, settings and wiiflow .ini and tried Fresh installs...

Might try a lower Rev and see if i get any different results

I'm guessing you already did this too, but just in case, did you hit the Reload Cache button after clearing the cache? Also, you don't have any covers that you left in the Covers folder that may be overriding the boxcovers? Also, try using a new theme with a fresh theme ini. There's a good chance that something in the theme ini file is causing it.
