Homebrew Wii wads

Hi, i have magaged to soft mod my wii after reading one of thr guides on here which was brilliant. I downloaded a bundle of wads which included the old sonic games etc for the older games machines. I installed 1 of the wads and it came up as a channel but when i clicked on it it said channel cant be used. What am i doing wrong?, do i need something else to be able to play these older games.

Are the WADS installed for your PAL console? None PAL WADS need to be hacked with "freethewads" to be played on PAL consoles.

ShowMiiWads is better for making them region free
