Hacking Wii Update - help wanted

I have a wii that has been mod chipped and is currently runing on 3.3E!

But i have just got a couple of new games and now the Wii is requesting i update the software before it will let me play them? If i update to the latest software will it brick/fuck up my wii or will everything be fine?

Alternatively is there another was around this?

you can update it,since all current system menu's can be hacked,you should follow this guide it's good,either use the safe 4.2 updater and hack it or update to 4.1 and hack it
