Hello,
I've got my Wii U connected to my PC monitor using the HDMI cable and a HDMI to DVI adapter.
However, because of this I don't get any sound otherwise heard on the TV. Does anyone know of a good way to solve this? I've tried looking for an HDMI to HDMI + 3.5mm audio jack adapter with no success.
Are there adapters like that?
Or could I get an HDMI input card to my PC and get the graphics and sound through the PC somehow?
Thanks!

I don't think you should bother.

Mainly because I had component cables for the Wii/WiiU and I hooked my WiiU up to my monitor via the HDMI. It worked fine. I plugged the component cables into the WiiU and set the settings to come out of that and hooked them up to my speakers and it still didn't work.
