While he wouldn't lay out any specific details for the new framework in his E3 2012 chat with Kotaku, he did confirm that the Wii U won't use "the existing friend code system."
sigh... they will never learn that nobody wants to type a massive number in.
for what ?Shall I begin the candlelight vigil or shall we just begin with the singing?
It's possible to have an account system with Friend Codes.if remember in E3 they say it was a account system
He re-confirmed what we already knew about the Wii U's lack of built-in hard drive, pointing to the on-board USB input ports for those who wish to add more storage.
Then everyone'd bash it saying "it's just fc with a different name"Here's what I don't understand... So you're taking an old, reviled system and changing it. Okay, Nintendo, that's a smart move. However, you're still using the old name, the one everyone associates with poor, annoying service. Why? Would it be so hard to create a new name?

I personally don't see what's wrong with a FC. It's no different to a gamertag considering gamertags are usually just as hard to remember.
