Hacking Wii U USB Helper Custom Game Error?

I have been using Wii U USB Helper to download loads of games for my Wii U and for the most part it has worked fine. However, when i attempt to download a custom game and it asks for the ISO file, i get an error when i select my ISO. This has happened with both Mario Kart Double Dash and Banjo-Kazooie and i was just wondering if there is any fix?

Wii u helper has been discontinued. It may have something to do with that .
I've heard it still works to download games if you had it installed before it was discontinued.

That could be the reason, I have been using a launcher that allows access to the Helper since it was discontinued but the custom injector could still be broken
