Hacking wii u usb guid

sorry guys this might be posted somewhere but ive been pulling my hair out for 2 hours trying to get the browser exploit to work..

so here goes

ive managed to get homebrew installed on 5.5.2 using the brain train game from the store.

what i want to do next is play my wii games. i have a usb from my wii that works fine on the wii for most the games.

how can i get the same games to play on the wii u

also if i want to play wii u games how do i go about that. is it a separate usb hdd from a wii one.

You can have Wii U, Wii and NGC games on the same hdd (Wii and NGC games via inject)

Just use WUP installer gx2 to install your games

Oh great. I’ve watched that many vids and different guids it’s took me hours just to get to the point I’m at.

So I’ve got the iso’s I’m unsure on what to do next. The only wii u game I have is Mario kart 8. The rest is my wii library.

Nintendo released a few wii games on the Wii U so, in order to install your wii games to the wii u menu you have to inject your game/s into another wii vc game

as for gamecube games those use nintendon't which is... uhh a gamecube backup loader

and yes you use the homebrew launcher to launch wup installer

I have no idea what all that means. Sorry. I appreciate you helping a guy out though. Will have another look around the web tomorrow. My heads battered tonight. The wii was much easier lol

Put WUP installer on your sd

/apps/wiiu/

and put the wii u games you wanna install in /install/(example folder)/game files (various files with a bunch of letters and numbers)

use this for your ngc and wii games

to make them into instalable format

then put them in the /install/ folder

ive managed to get a few wii u games working. not as simple as the wii but never the less I'm on to a winner. had to install to system though as once i tried to run when installed on usb i got an usb error.

currently trying a method for my wii games but has to be separate hdd in wbfs format not a major deal braker but would of been nice all on 1. will take a look later at the links you posted
