yeah you guys were right.. it was just mario maker trying to update. :P

i'm still on 5.4.0 spoofing 5.5.1 and all is well... except i still can't get loadiine gx sd to work at all for me... or any loadiine, for that matter.

initial modified kernel exploit works fine, and browser restarts. however, when i attempt to run loadiine, i hang my system/gamepad. maybe i'm not doing it right (trying to directly run the app), as i read something about needing to launch it from HBL... sigh.. i can't seem to find definitive information, or a simple step by step, from scratch to running a ROM ripped from a retail disc, on system version 5.4.0.

its not like I'm new to this type of thing either.. I've modded every console I've owned since the SNES and Megadrive(genesis).. (if i remember correctly the NES didn't need modding, and pirated carts worked fine on it). and soft-modded everything since PS2 myself. ps1 was more of a non-solder hardware hack (the manual spin-up spin-down disc swap method)... but anyway, i'm more than familiar with console modding/hacking, especially gamecube, wii, DS, 3DS... so i don't think it's a matter of skill or competence. if anything, I must have overlooked some magical thread that explains it all..
Just run latest HBL and then run loadiine from that.

I've heard some people claim that certain games somehow work around DNS settings and allow the console to download the newest updates. I'm not sure what games they are or if it's true or not though.

X'DDDD funny story :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:
...
:blink: Wait, is this for real? :wtf:
Remmember: "Knowledge is power".

These news are no news, if you've already hacked your Wii U, then you should have read the tuto you followed to the final, if not, then, don't complain. Next time be sure to read all the info if you want, or plan to hack a device.
