After so many years i have seen videos of Nintendo Wii U overheating
i want to know if someone here removed the old thermal pad on the cpu and replaced it with some good expensive thermal compound as the ones used for PC

If there is even the slightest incentive I'm going to go ahead and replace the existing thermal pad. I just want to know which thermal paste is best used for the Wii U. Would not want to use a compound that could damage the system.

I have not ever heard a big epidemic of Wii U's overheating. But if it makes you feel more comfortable go for it. I've had mine since launch and I live in a warm state and no problems ever. Personally I believe "if it's not broken don't fix it" but everyone is different.
