I've dusted off my old Wii U that's on firmware 5.5.1 EU.
I've never used Haxchi but just about everything else.
Is there anything I need to think about when I update the firmware, thinking of buying a title or two from the e-shop.

I've got lots of games installed through WUP installer and want my Wii U up to date.

So, my question is, as stated above, is there anything I need to consider or do before updating my firmware to the latest one?

Thankful for all help!

It is safe to update to 5.5.4E. You can install Haxchi at any time after the update, and Mocha is compatible with 5.5.4E.

If you have trouble with the browser exploit, you might need to switch to a URL that has been updated to be more stable with the 5.5.4E browser.

Thanks Lacius, Then I'll update =)

@HiradeGirl the L button barely worked at all in the dsi i previously had

That could be an easy fix without even opening it with some ipa maybe unless the entire button broke
