I received a wii u with the RBLoD. I already cleaned, repasted, and checked the power supply and everything seems fine. I know it has to do with a power rail in the console or a buck converter but I couldn’t find any information about it.
Also, it doesn’t flash a blue light after the power button is pressed, only the red power LED blinks.

Here you can see where you find the power rails: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ultimat...creen-after-stuck-update.642339/post-10308257

The buck converters are pretty easy to spot, it's almost the same pattern. (Just look for the coils)
Omg the linked thread is so helpful tysm!!!!!

I narrowed down the cause of my problem to a short on the power rails, since in voltage mode, the only one that gives me a reading is the standby 15V rail (purple in the linked picture), the other ones straight up don’t send any voltage and beep with a reading of 0 in continuity mode. I also get a weird reading of 2.52v instead of 1.5v in one of the rails. The other 15v power rail next to the standby one slowly decreases from 1v to 0v

A dead short on all rails would be strange. How exactly did you measure it?
Also if the DRAM gets 2,5V it's probably dead already anyway

I measured both with the DC Volts setting (2v and 20v), depending on what voltages i should’ve gotten according to the picture (standby and powered on). And i also double checked every rail with continuity mode.

The datasheet shows that the WIIU‘s power switching chip can withstand a maximum voltage of 18V. 20V is a bad idea, even though I have been using a 19V power adapter for a long time:)
