Hardware Wii U question

I know that the Wii U will be compatible with Wii Remote Plus controllers with the sensor bar, but will I be able to use normal Wii Remotes with it?

It's compatible with all Wii peripherals and accessories. Some Wii U games will probably require Motion+ for multiplayer. It's backwards compatible with Wii games too and most of those only use standard Wiimotes.
