Time for a new news post!

The last week I spent my time on updating and extending the devolper wiki. I added information for the wut setup, how use the configuration menu, documentation of more hooks (FS_ACCESS, ALLOW_KERNEL etc.), how to use system functions and more!
I decided to not use the wiki on github anymore, but create github pages site based on jekyll (Using the awesome documentation theme: https://idratherbewriting.com/documentation-theme-jekyll/)

Now everythings looks a bit cooler and we kinda have a webpage now.
It's online at: https://maschell.github.io/WiiUPluginSystem/dev_overview.html (URL probably changes in the future)

The best part of having it on a (github based) webpage: People can contribute! Simply fork the gh-pages (https://github.com/Maschell/WiiUPluginSystem/tree/gh-pages) branch and make pull requests. (follow the "edit me" button to see which page corresponds to which .md file on the repo).
I'm open for contributions. The design could get some tweaks, the texts have probably some typos and some content is maybe missing.

I hope this will motivate more developers to create new plugins!

Nice project, is the screenshots plugin only made jpeg screenshots ?
png or bmp is possible ?

How does screenshot plugin works? Does it capture both screens at the same time or not? And with which button?

Are there plans to make the screenshot tool work with the pro controller? Unless there's a trick to get it to work, I was unable to change the shortcut to pro controller buttons, so I can't use it for normal gameplay.

I'm having some trouble getting sdcafiine to work I've been trying to get a Pokken mod I made to load in the WUPS version of SD cafiine it's always locks up while it works fine in the non WUPS version of sdcafiine.

Okay I've now tested WUPS with just the screenshot plugin and it froze in the same place. edit again turns out doesn't matter if you a plugin or not the game locks up at the same exact place without fail.

Well, screenshot plugin works. Takes both of TV and Gamepad screens, allow to choose any combo of buttons for screenshot capture, freeze game for second (it's good, allow to see what image taken). But:
In menu plugin works almost fine. Wii U gamepad screenshot is perfect while TV screenshot is 1280x720 resolution instead of 1920x1080.
In Breath of the wild plugin doesn't work. Nothing happens.
In Xenoblade Chronicles X plugin works. But resolutions of both screenshots is very low. 640x360 instead of 854x480 in Gamepad screenshot and 640x360 instead of 1920x1080 in TV screenshot.

This plugin have a lot of potencial but now it's very inperfect.

I cannot get this to work with Pokémon Rumble U. I tried different versions of the plugin loader, different plugins, and it always gives me a "Function AXInitWithParams is NULL" error (white text on black screen) when I launch the game.

Interesting, looks like a .rpl is not available there. Could create a issue on github? https://github.com/Maschell/WiiUPluginSystem

I know this post is very old, but it's likely that the screenshot plugin grabs the framebuffer directly, thereby taking screenshots at the game's native output resolutions rather than the final, upscaled ones. Even so, I find it odd that Xenoblade X's TV resolution would be that low.
