Hacking Wii U Odd File System?

Ok I installed Loadiine Forwarder via WupInstaller.
Immediately back into Homebrew Launcher and FTP'd replacement Icons.

Presto shows my new Icons, proceeded to play a game and then exit back to WiiU Menu and Icons are back to original in the Wup yet I overwrote them and seen them wtf?

Does the WiiU have a Cache or something?

full power off with a unplug might work.
And yeah it does have a Cache of sorts

That's happened to me before as well. Just swap them back and try again, I've never had to do it more than twice though i have had to do it twice a handful of times, but not every time. Its weird.

I done it on my other WiiU and it all fine 1st try.

I done it with this WiiU currently and Corrupted Icons question marks for icons yet I used savmiimod for other things yet it shown proper icon and WiiU still shows Question marks and corrupt warning.

Well no Biggy but it atleast explains a couple of other things I have been playing with.
