Hardware Wii U LAN adapter - no connection

I bought a WII U lan adapter (not official but it works: Lioncast Wii U LAN adapter), i hooked it up, Wii U sees it and tries to setup a connection but it fails. When i try to manually set the IP etc. it passes the 1st connection test but a second test fails once again. I've seen some threads like this on google but no posts as to what i can possibly try to get this fixed.


I hope someone has an idea!

If all fails your best bet is to return it for a replacement/refund. I bought a generic Wii U LAN adapter last year for Mario Kart 8 and it works flawlessly!
