Another Etika video covering splatoon hacking:

Woo I'm slightly a little tiny bit mentioned at 1:22 indirectly <3

EDIT: I'm madly in love with Etika in case that wasn't clear

I'm not saying your commit was bad or anything... I just don't see what the point in it was.
Why did you change the IP from a hex value to a bunch of shifts?
As I wrote in the explanation:
"It's easier to read and faster to edit." ;)
And usually the compiler should translate it as constant number,
so there won't be any performance issues! :D

My fu***ng wiiu autoupdated itself (with standby! I havent powered it on for weeks)..
Is there any chance 1) to downgrade or 2) for this exploit or near followings to be usable on 5.4.0 ?
Otherwise I will sell my WiiU and buy another one, what do you think?
Waiting for a reply, thank you

I'd sell and rebuy while you still can. Nobody knows for sure that a 5.4.0 exploit will appear, and it will only become harder to find consoles on older firmwares as time goes by.

The Wii U does auto-update even while on standby. You should turn off from the power source and/or remove internet settings to be safe.

Thank you, waiting for more opinions, any is welcome and accepted. In this state I will probably sell/buy the unit on ebay asap, probably in 2-3days.

I tried to run the 2.1.0 Payload, freshly compiled, of course.

But it seems to just freeze for me.

With a direct bookmark, or entering it manually, neither doesn't work.

I also tried to delete Cookies and restarted the WiiU, no difference.

If reveal means "release", it will be soon, once the kernel exploit is polished (and maybe after we have another, if we can get one quickly enough). Otherwise, everything has been revealed already by MrBean.

But not the method to actually replace files on the fly though. I saw some videos on SSB4 music replacement, I just hope to see tutorials soon, that's all :P

Doesn't Bean's video show exactly that?

But where is the actual place to download this Caffiine app though? It's not in the video. It shows how, yes, you're right, but it doesn't show where to get the app in question. That's the problem. So, really, showing the video doesn't do much good if the program isn't publicly available.
