Hello everybody.
I have a problem with my gamepad. When i turn on the console, it displays correct collours on TV but gamepad after pairing shows everything what should be white in pink. When I unplug the power cord from the console and turn gamepad on screen displays perfectly. Anyone have an idea what seems to be the problem?

Mine sometimes does this on the TV when I am running it through my capture card. Normally, I just unplug the HDMI, reset the capture software, plug it back in, and retry. I've never had it happen on the gamepad though. It could be a different form of the same issue though. Maybe try to mess with your HDMI cord/port set-up? Try a different TV, if possible. Probably won't fix it, but it's worth a try.

I tried with only sensor and power cable connected to the console.

go to settings change hdmi to component cable. tv will go black cause you have no component cable plugged in. now turn wii u off and turn on again.

I will try

from nintendo website:
Check that the Wii U GamePad screen is not currently turned off by pressing any button other than the POWER Button.
Press and hold the POWER Button down on the Wii U console until the Wii U console powers off. Power the Wii U console back on.
If this does not work, unplug the AC adapter from the back of the Wii U console and wait 15 seconds, then plug the Wii U console back in and turn it on.
Reset the Wii U GamePad:
If the Wii U GamePad is currently turned off, press the power button once to turn it on.
Press and hold down the Wii U GamePad power button until the Wii U GamePad turns off.
Wait 15 seconds.
Press the power button once to turn the Wii U GamePad on.

If you know anyone else with a Wii U, try pairing your pad with his system (and vice versa) this will at least prove whether it's the pad at fault or the system sending the pad bad info.

If it's a hardware issue (which seems pretty likely) I'm afraid the only choice is to get it fixed/replaced :(

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint

    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
