I've installed Coldboot Haxchi and everything has been working great for weeks. I made sure to follow every step carefully and did it 100% to the letter. Now all of a sudden my console crashes randomly.
First I was on the home Wii U screen, nothing was pressed and it crashed. Then a day later, during Game play randomly. Now when I boot the system, I'd be lucky to see the Wii U menu for a few seconds.
The only change I've made recently was installing the Homebrew Channel on the vWii. I can't imagine that something like that is making it crash. After installing it onto the vWii, it was working fine for a week before the crashing started.
Other than the HBC on the vWii, I haven't installed anything that could potentially damage the console.
