You don't need to uninstall CBHC to install a different version over it as I recall, you just install the new version and it overwrites the old version, as long as you do it right. Been awhile since I made the upgrade, so I would double check this here on the temp but I'm nearly certain this is how I upgraded my version of CBHC to this one before.
is my CBHC version a old one? and if so. how do i upgrade it?

It's not exactly old, they're both version 1.6, the one I have is just modded with more autoboot options. Anyway, you can only upgrade by doing the same thing you did to install CBHC to begin with, and since you can't boot into your Wii U at this point, you can't make the change without access to the Homebrew Loader.

For those curious, the CBHC mod in question can be found here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/cbhc-v1-6-coldboot-haxchi-cfw.452615/post-8272093

Before he unistall CBHC better goes in Pyramidal way, it means:

1. The most important it's to disable the Autoboot from CBHC before unistall anything.
2. Unistall CBHC, and try to re-install it.

If he doesn't take out the Autoboot first, he will face the loop Brick and Goodbye.....
Uninstalling CBHC is normally no problem, whether autoboot is enabled or not doesn't matter as that only affects CBHC's behavior while it is installed.
Uninstalling CBHC in this case would remove the only possible unbricking method other than a hardmod so it would be a really bad idea. It's possible/likely some homebrew is still able to run in the bricked state so there might still be ways to unbrick with CBHC.

this is a stretch, but you could try this: https://github.com/Laf111/WiiUFtpServer

I've been testing new builds for @Laf111 , so we've become friends. he's been trying to add pro controller support, which he did with the latest build (not out yet, since there were a few bugs that he found, but I encountered no bugs myself). it's better than ftpii u everywhere, but the latest out only works with the gamepad, so try it. it probably won't work, since nothing else does, but it's worth a try.

nm, I just now realized. it's an rpx file, I don't know if the homebrew_launcher looks for both elf and rpx or just elf.

what I mean is the homebrew launcher can use either, but does the cbhc homebrew launcher only look for homebrew_launcher.elf or also homebrew_launcher.rpx?

He's saying use that homebrew app in place of the homebrewlauncher.elf in the same way he was advising you to do so with the FTPiiU app. Honestly, it probably wont work, but it can't hurt to try.

this screen is just a black screen for every cbhc option i use

What did you name the ftp app? It's an rpx, which is the main executable extension of games

I know , but just in case to take the most safe road because we talki9ng about to the same Version and not an Upgrade of CBHC this to avoid any background memory file corruption as the delicate situation for him...... Other than if doens't work anything he must to restore the Nand Backup by soldering the stuff or ask someone to do for him.....

I hear ya, but I definitely did only change from the 1.6 version to the 1.6 mod version.

Still you're definitely right, always better to be safer than sorry with something so fragile.
