Hacking Wii U - Black Screen Issue (Aroma)

Hello. I have an issue with my Wii U running aroma. I recently updated it in the first time in forever, along with my Pretendo Patches for the new account settings update, mainly because my email was hacked that was put under my Pretendo account.

I put everything required in to update, but when I start the Wii U with the SD card inserted, the screen goes black and loops the startup sound. I have to force shut down the Wii U or unplug it.

I am running a Deluxe Black Wii U, Using a 64 gig MicroSD in an adapter. The adapter isn't dead, but I do share it with my 3DS because the adapter that was in the 3DS died recently.

So I got caught in an infinite boot and it was because the sd card was corrupted. You might try restoring a backup of your sd card/using a new one/reformatting it as fat32. You could also temporarily delete the plugins folder for aroma (wiiu -> environments -> aroma -> plugins) to see if you can isolate the issue to being a plugin. I had a plugin break things (swipswapme) on the most recent update so I had to delete that one to fix it. In my case it was freezing the wii u controller screen.

Any ideas on this? I don't buy the "SD card is corrupted" byline - this randomly started happening to me after I updated the EnvironmentLoader files and ever since then my Wii U cant' boot, even after attempting to clear Aroma plugins + revert to the old environmentloader files. The SD card is fine with no errors and files can move freely to/from it.
