I have not hacked my Wii or done anything to it yet.

I turned it on and I get a message saying the System files are corrupted. I called Nintendo and they said I have to send it in to be repaired. Is there a way I can repair it by hacking it?

As soon as I turn it on I get the error message. Can I boot from an SD card?

    Thanks.

Without priiloader or bootmii, I'm pretty sure you're screwed.

How did this happen? Is it a new Wii?

I'm guessing it's a new wii that has not been hacked yet based on the first post. The problem is if you can't pass the system error screen, you can't hack it. Even if you could hack it, they may deny a free repair of your wii.

Well, chances are you are still able to pull up the recovery mode via the savemiifrii method. Try that out. If you can then depending on what SM version is reported in the corner then you might have a chance. You might have to purchase a modchip.

If your wii is a few years old then it could have a vulnerable boot1. If it does then there are other members here that can reprogram your wii's internal flash memory.

Don't go to too much trouble, just send it to Nintendo and when they bring it back and you still want to hack it, then come back and we'll help you out.
