I know of the golden rule regarding not fixing a non-broken soft-modded Wii... however, my OCD is taking over, and it's been a while since I modded (and I'm still a n00b), I wanted to request the help of some GBATemp'ers. I realize that some of the magical things that are in my Wii may be becoming out-dated, so I performed a SysCheck, and was wondering if anyone would be kindly willing to tell me what I should update, etc.

-- Thanks in advance.

i think it looks good...not much has changed over the past year.......you have 236....you appear to be current on 249 (and likely 250)......looks like you have Hermes 5 @ 222/224 and i assume [37/38] @ 223....ur on 4.2 (no need to go 4.3)...you have IOS58 (the most recent Ninty update).

i wouldn't change anything....

Just curious, looking at your signature indicating your allegiance to XFLAK, I have Priiloader installed, and I used the little guide thing with the little wad things, and I was wondering if it was safe to install the IOS70 I think it was, since I'm on 4.2, I know that's the System Menu (think it was 70), will things explode, will priiloader be removed, will updating not bring any benefits?

Thanks.

IOS70 is the IOS the SM runs on (it's not the SM itself)....i see yours is not patched....you could install the patched version it if you wanted to...things shouldn't explode....priiloader should be safe as it's attached to the SM....

...but if you're not having any problems, i would leave everything as is....

...if you have bootmii@boot2, you really can't blow it up beyond repair....

If I were to delete IOS70, or if I were installing it, and then the power went out half way through, would that destroy it beyond repair? (No BootMii@Boot2) Just priiloader.

Much thanks.

Yep. Both of those would cause a fully bricked wii.

It'll also brick if you install v6912 of IOS70 (v6912 is a useless stub).

Yes, both of these things would brick your Wii. However, using Multi-Mod Manager to install a patched version of IOS70 is very safe, and there are only a couple of seconds that it would be dangerous for the power to go out (when it is doing the actual installing). Multi-Mod Manager also doesn't allow for stubs to be installed in the IOS Manager. One could argue that performing an official system update is more dangerous than this.
