My Son and I love playing the sword fighting challenges in Sports Resort.

Are there any other Sword games that utilise the motion plus?

Cheers

Red Steel 2
Yep
It's even required for that game
It has a T rating though (dunno how old your son is)

There aren't really any sword games with Motion+

True, but reginleiv is not a game for the younglings either. Still, I don´t see much harm in RS 2, I mean it´s got stabbing people with a sword and, if you want, shooting people. You don´t go for a sword fighting game if you can´t use a sword (WSR is an exceprion, i´ll give you that).

He has just turned 6.
Red steel may be ok I'll check it out. Can't be much worse than the punching and shooting in Indiana Jones.

I see your point. It looks kinda of cool but probably a bit too much for Junior.

Edit: Something similar to Ninja Gaiden DS would be perfect.

Ghost Slayer is a Wiiware game that's basically the same as the Swordfighting challenges in Wii Sports Resort, but is scarier (About ghosts) and the music is creepy as well. It's a good game, but probably not suitable for kids.

You should check out some videos of it see if it's suitable.

Wii Sports Resort
GhostSlayer
Zangekio no REGINLEIV
and Red Steel 2

all feature M+ swordplay.

There is also Rage of the Gladiator upcoming.

However, WSR is the only one that has multiplayer.
