Do you even have a MotionPlus?

Question, Is it required to play the game?

Yes sir, it is. The game is actually designed to be a showcase for the MotionPlus, much the way Wii Sports was a showcase for the Wiimote. If you buy it, it actually comes bundled with one. It's well worth the $20 for the unit. The control you have with the thing is amazing. Plus, there are other games to play with it out now if you're on the fence: Virtua Tennis (remember to turn on MotionPlus manually on the control screen), Tiger Woods, and Grand Slam Tennis. I'm mostly excited for Red Steel 2... I'm guessing it will be everything the first one should have been, but wasn't. Plus, for those legit game buyers, I can heartily recommend WSR upon it's local release. It's the most fun I've had with the Wii in a long time (especially the airplaine game, and the multiplayer).

Go to USB Loader GX thread. Just get the release on the FIRST PAGE of the thread (who knows where you've been getting yours). There's even a link to the manual on the page. Unlock loader in global settings. Alt-dol option is in individual game settings on disc screen. Stop being stupid. You're impossible (and apparently blind). Goodbye.

Okay this might help me...rudely given but thanks none the less

You're welcome. What you don't seem to realize is that all the info you've been given has been good, and that we've been trying to help you all along. You just make it very difficult. This is my last post here now. Thanks for saying thanks. If it doesn't work, sorry, I'm sure you'll figure it out. But I'm out of this thread, so good luck.

basicly i was like that when i first tryed to play wii sports resort on my wii, i tryed the alt dol method with neogamma rev 6 since gx loader wasnt working at all, your better off buring this game to a disc though cause all you have to do is run geko os

If whatever imaperodactyl said doesn't work, try the idea i gave you if you haven't already. Often times the micro sd readers from DS flash carts corrupts the data written to the card.

okay I tried Wii Sports....it works fine....now if only I can get Wii Sports Resort to work like that......hmm

Well I don't know much about USB Loaders(I've only used CoverFloader with NTSC-U games).

With my very limited knowledge, all I know is that you use alt-dol method to see the video or something, then turn off alt-dol and it should work fine like normal. So... I guess if you've already seen the video, then just open up in a usb loader? If not try a few other loaders..
I don't know anything about this issue so don't hold it on me if it doesn't work.

Silly skeeter all I can tell you is my EXACT setup in hopes this will work for you. I see no reason that it will not work.... Here you go

Ok everyone that is having trouble with this..... Here is my setup and how I got it work.. I am using a NTSC Wii. I have System Menu 4.0 installed. I have Wankinkokos cIOS 38 rev 13 (aka rev13a) I have no idea if it works with rev 13b or not. There has seem to be alot of bugs with 13b. So use just rev 13. I am using the USB Loader GX rev 566. I did the whole wii scrubbing method that has been described. Open up the ISO with wii scrubber and look at partition2/sys/mpls_movie/ to find player.dol extract it to your computer. then rename it the game id is for Wii Sports Resort. It will probably be RZTJ01 which is what is for me. So the player.dol file should be named RZTJ01.dol or whatever the game id is if it happens to be different. Now put in the root of your SD card. NOT in the root of the apps folder or in any other folder. RZTJ01.dol should not be in any folder. It should simply be in the root of the SD. Now fire up USB Loader GX. Using the following settings:

Video Mode: System Default

VIDTV PATCH: OFF

Game Language: Japanese

Ocarina: OFF

IOS: 249

ERROR 02 FIX: ON

Patch Country Strings: OFF

Alternate DOL: ON

Block IOS Reload: OFF
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At this point when the game loads you will click on the screen then it will play a video in Japanese telling you how to use the Wii Motion plus. It last about 10 minutes. Let it play and finish... You will then be taken back to the main system menu. After this you MUST power off your wii and power it back on. After you do this go back into USB Loader GX and change ONLY this setting in the game settings. Alternate DOL: OFF. Now the game should load and you will be able to play only if you have Wii motion plus. this tutorial should work for anyone with a NTSC Wii I would assume.

Omg I finally got it to work.......thanks to all that helped me through all of this. The method
BenJay stated worked for me

Yes, and if you would have listened long ago.. you would have read to turn OFF Alt Dol Loading.

Just wanted to say to cheers to all for the posts and solutions to the Topic Question.

After dicking about with it for a day or two, I stumbled across this forum and rather interesting (and sometimes heated) thread, which provided the solution for me to get the game working - only problem is I haven't bought my kids the motion plus yet so I guess they can wait another day, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Once again cheers all who provided their knowledge to help us noobs out!

EDIT-----------------------

Sorry forgot to add that I used Wiiscrubber to extract player.dol to my SD card, and placed this in the GammaLoader folder on my SD card.
Then used Gammaloader App through HBC (not channel version) to load the game with only change to 002 fix ***Enabled***.
Had to rename player.dol to RZTJ.dol for it to work, but it worked. Played the video through to the end, reset the Wii, and loaded the game through GammaLoader Channel.

Pretty straight forward when you think about it!
