Hacking wii speak.

OK, i am getting the wiispeak for xmas!

i have read topics about this before, but just to clarify -

i am on 3.2 with no shop channel. Say i use the shop channel updater, to get shop channel working again, and download my wiispeak channel...


but in a couple of months decide that i want to update to 3.4/3.5/3.6 or whatever.
is it safe to use a nintendo update after using the shop channel updater program?

And -

if i download the wiispeak channel from wii shop, do i have to update my wii to 3.4 for it to work?

thats basicly all i need to know

Ok. im on 3.2 i installed the Ios55(i think thats the one) and Shop Channel and downloaded my wii speak channel as far as I can tell it works fine everytime i talk the mouth on the face moves but i cant test it over wi-fi as no one i know has it.

so short answer yes install the shop and the IOS that comes with it and download wii speak you should be fine.

Dude if you bother to read the stickies or any of the threads to do with homebrew you will see that you should never upgrade using nintendos updates. Patience is a vertue and good things come to those who wait, like the custom updates from members like tona and the hacked shop update.
