Hacking Wii softmod question

Im a noob when it comes to this sort of thing, but i have been trying to softmod my wii (new firmware 4.1E) using this guide http://wiiguide.co.cc/ now i have followed the instructions to the letter, and have gotten to the WADbatchinstaller.dol and now i have a black screen with white writing on it and the last part is code dump. But it appears to have hung and is not oding anything. I dont want to hard reset in case this causes any damage, any advice welcome. My appologies if i have missed out any information which is needed but i will reply asap with anything that is needed.

you going to have to hard reset your wii because you have a code dump. you wii should be fine still.

no.
so pretty much dont even follow that guide, its garbage and comes with prebundled outdated software.
