Hardware Wii remote will not reysync

Hi All what a great site its helped me loads over the last 5 weeks.

I have read alot on this site about softmodding and sorted my Wii out with a lot of reading from this site.Thx to all

My question is i have not turned the wii on for a few weeks,turned it on tonight and the remote
seems to have lost sync with the unit i have changed the batteries and still nothing i know about the reset buttons but still will not pair back.
i have preloader V0.29 installed and when i turn the system on
i have to hold down reset then press the power button to turn the system on,as far as i know i can only start the system this way.

But i cannot resync the remote back to the Wii.
I have read that it needs to boot to the start up screen (do not press A)
is this correct before the remote will resync ??

Also i have a Nand backup could i reset the system via this way.

Any help plz

take the bats out wait 5-10 minutes put them back and keep trying until it works.

Sorry nothing i have been trying for 2 days now but will still not resync

Have you got to be on the HBC to resync them because i can only get to the preloader screen

HBC
install file

i cannot get any further than this because i cannot not go done to the HBC and press A to start it.

Any help plz thx

use a gamecube controller to get past preloader to the system menu, then sync the motes
