Hacking Wii Remote plus not working with yawmm?

I'm helping a friend mod his Wii. When installing some wads, I realized that his wii remote plus will disconnect when I load into yawwmm and won't connect again. My regular launch wii remote works fine. What's the deal?

The way that older homebrew uses the Wiimotes doesn't work with the newer ones with Motion Plus built in. The later builds of MMM might, not entirely sure. If his Wii has NGC ports, a NGC should work fine.

Try Wii Mod Lite instead. It works with Motion Plus controllers.
