well we are back with a new release

this bad boys been in the works for about 5 weeks it was a request by Aether

we have tried to make this as near to a real mac as we can on a WII and we hope you all like it

small side note this works best in 4:3 mode in the wii settings
and to get it looking perfect you might need to move afew channel about we did try to fix this but had no luck

I did. And you've got to admit it, it looks great. I'm a PC user too, but mac is good for GUI, which the Wii theme team did an excellent job at replicating.

Well, didn't want to wait for a 16:9 version, so i tried it...

I wasn't able to apply thy 4.x mym to the base app (4.2) with Thememii.
It says "no entries left..."
Then I used mymenu to apply the mym. It worked and I as able to install it with mymenuify.
But after leaving HBC I end up with a black screen. So I restarted the wii.
Then I see your new "bootscreen" fitting my whole 16:9 screen.
Hitting A leads to black screen...
So luckily I got bootmii installed.

For me, this is a bricking mym. Watch out!

@WiiShizzza, first off, just want to say I've read a lot of your posts and know you are a smart guy, so what i'm about to say isn't meant to sound overbearing.

but are u using the right .app file for you system menu version when creating the csm files with mymenu? It's a very understandable mistake to make... one mis-click could cause it, could happen to anyone maybe even without their realizing.

edit: i almost hope u made a little mistake like that, it would be a shame for such a unique theme with so much time obviously spent on it to have that much brick potential

properly I used the right one. I used the 0000008a.app downloaded with NUSD (decrypted)
Same when I patch my mym files...

ThemeMii shows only only [sdta] entries. no [cont] nor [simg] ...
if I check inside the mym, I'll find "file1" - "file30" non got an extension...
So I had a look at the mym.ini I found out that "file11" is the health.ash. So I wanted to extract it again, but failed with every U8Tool. ASH and Lz77 decompress didn't work either...

Don't know what's wrong...

Everybody else got it working ?

MyMenu from wadder.net and ThemeMii from Leathl can work with mym files.
MyMenuify only works with *.csm files. Which can be made with ThemeMii and MyMenu.

yes it works in sneek, but it makes loading your system menu take forever.

mymenu works in windows (its also included in the portapack), thememii also just recently came out... also, u can open mym files with winrar (or probably winzip too) and extract all the files from it... that was the old way of making themes, u could open it up, extract existing tpl image files, modify them and reinsert them into the mym file.... but now thememii takes care of all that

This worked for me but in 16:9 it looks all distorted and the icons are messed up.

Oh fun. ThemeMii is now giving me an error where it says "No entries left" when I try to generate a .csm from the .mym file.

thats what wiishizzza reported too, download mymenu and use that (i find v1.2 works best for me, even better than v1.3)

which version of mymenu do you use? the 1.31 link on wadder.net is broken...

Tried several times now... don't know which version of mymenu i got installed...
But everytime after the new welcome screen, I face black...
First I thought could be cos of some startpatches, but i tried with clean sysmenu... same happen...

...just tried ios70 patched. FAILED.

Tried MyMii from Lethl to create the csm. FAILED.
Could not find the newest version of MyMenu, cos the 1.31 link on wadder is dead. Any mirror?

if that won't work, i give up.
