Hacking Wii modding help. Your my last hope!

Hi everyone.

I've softmodded my wii with home-brew successfully however I keep running
into issues with this thing called IOS rev14 which, by going by the guides I need to install.

I have firmware 4.1E, Home-brew fully installed but when I try to install the cIOS rev14 number 36
it says it fails to install the Custom IOS giving the error ret=2011. I am unable to find what this error means
and I'm sure its the reason none of the other software I have on the wii work like preloader .30 or neogamma (neogamma
seems to disconnect the wiimote which is so random, any help with that would be helpful)

I live in NZ, and what I am trying to do is play legal games from the states on my regionlocked wii as well as my own
personal backups (brother and sister have already snapped two of my games /sadface).

Any further information I can provide.

You can use sciifii ! With that program you can update your wii to 4.2 install cios r17 cioscorp if you want priiloader

All is customizable and simple of use !

You skipped a step on whatever guide you're using: restoring the trucha bug. BTW No need to deny piracy, half of us are probably pirates.

BTW, I'm not one, I just enjoy messing with my Wii.

tbh I have read that and have been following another guide that does not require you to update your firmware to 4.2, it seems you don't need to.

if you have the HBC and bootmii already just get the modify.zip and follow the steps from the HBC no need to update

Ok I emailed for the .Zip. it seems I do need to get the Bug working, I have downloaded a file from the above link called DOP mii, would you suggest using this?
