Alright, I'll try that out. Thanks for the continued support.

Why version 12 of Dop-Mii? Newer versions may not work? I've used 14.5 on my Wii before, though I didn't really get anywhere with it.

Well, Dop-Mii v12 won't work. I got to the welcome screen but my controller (old one) wouldn't work with it, even though it was on. I tried v14.5 again and it worked, though the scan hangs on IOS22, and when that happens my controller also loses connection and refuses to re-connect until I restart the system. For now I'll post the HackMii 0.6 log, in the meantime I'll try other versions of Dop-Mii.

OK, try this
Backup and format your sd card
Download casper-hackmii-fix.zip and extract it to sd:\
Install wilbrand or letterbomb to sd:\ and run the exploit
Casper should load bootmii, make a nand backup
From the bootmii sd load, load bootmini.elf
Hackmii 1.0 will load, and probably also fail to install

Now backup nand.bin and key.bin to your pc, keep it safe

Assuming hackmii 1.0 fail, continue below.

Rename sd:\boot.elf to boot-bootmii.elf
Rename sd:\boot-cboot.elf to boot.elf

Run the letterbomb or wilbrand again
casper should load cboot2, which should load wiimod
Select the wadmanager, install the 4 wads.
You now have patched ios236, postloader forwarder, and HBC 1.03
You have also downgraded ios36 to be compatible with the hackmii installer

Reload ios in wiimod to ios236
Go to the advanced menu, select the title manager
Select system titles. Have a look for ios0. If you see ios0, delete it. Don't delete anything else
Exit wiimod

Now load the black HBC from the wii menu, launch the hackmii 0.6
Try to install bootmii as boot2 and HBC

Don't give up Denton, you now have the source "Mauifrog". When you are at the point of MMM installed I would downgrade to System Manger 4.1

Alright, Mauifrog, I'll try that. Also, I got the scan to work with Dop-Mii 12.1

Nevermind, that made the forum look horrible, give me a minute and I'll re-do it.

Ah damn, SD card is too small to make a NAND back up, I'll have to get another one. I'll report back later.

If you don't have a big sd card, you can skip the nand backup. Instead of the nand backup you can run key_dumper.elf from the bootmii sd menu, this will dump your nand keys to sd:\. You really only need the nand keys, it should make key.bin file. So if you have key.bin file you are golden and good to go with the rest.

Been there, done that. Sucks because I personally have a bunch of 256meg and 512meg SD cards around. I find though if your going to go with all the cool emulators (old school games) a 2GB card is really the minimum. But... we arn't even there yet :) Don't distress Denton, your going to get there buddy.

Yeah, emulators are the biggest reason I'm wanting to do this, my SNES, which I've had for nearly 20 years, doesn't work so well anymore. It'll play but if any phyiscal contact is made with it, it'll reset. On top of that some of my cartridge batteries have died, and as much as I like DKC2 I don't want to 102% it in one sitting every time. Of course I can use emulators on my computer but it's nice being able to play those games on my TV.

Thanks for the information Mauifrog, but I already grabbed a 2 GB SD card. Back up is verifying at the moment.

Alright, I installed the four WADs from WADmanager, so I have the HBC now. I didn't find IOS0. Still getting the suck it message.

Disregard that, I'm retarded, I used the 1.0 installer, not the 0.6. The 0.6 seems to work. Let's see how it goes.

Alright, got Bootmii installed as Boot2 and the HBC. Fantastic. So now just pick a guide and follow it?

Just download modmii, Tell it your wii is a virgin and 4.3. Copy all the wiimod files to sd:\
Then simply install all of the wads and install priiloader.

That is it, load your apps from postloader.

Now you could persue hackmii 1.0 more if you like. You could try to make a new nand backup, format that nand.bin with ohneswanzeneger, giantpune's nand.bin formater.
You format the nand.bin
Then install sm 4.3 to the nand bin, setting your setting.txt with the proper serial number
Then install ios36-v1042 to the nand.bin
Then restore the new nand bin to the wii and try again with hackmii 1.0
If probably still will not work, so postloader is the simplest way to go.

Thanks for all the help Mauifrog, everything seems to be in order. I don't think I have any reason to mess with hackmii 1.0 anymore since the HBC is offering to upgrade to 1.1.0.

hmm, im still having problems with the usb in wad manager...
i disabled ahbprot in the config/removed it from the xml.
im using 249(38)d2xb9 as autoloadios and i can only see the root contents of my usb, even when using "/wad" as the default startup path.
sd works correctly, but if i browse into any folder on my usb, i just get the repeated contents of the root, i can never see ""/"wad" folder...
maybe i just need to put the wads int he root? id really like to use wiimod to install wads without an sd card....thank you for everything!

If you want I find a bug (and correct it in my local version of WAM) that happen using WiiMod on Wii with FW 3.0 or 3.1

The problem is in getSystemMenuRegionFromContentES ( detect_settings.c )
Here you search "C:\\Revolution" in resource content, but you have this only in FW 3.2 or higher.

but for 3.1E:
f:\RVL\System3_1_build\ipl\bin\RVL\Final_EU2\main.elf
and for 3.0E:
f:\RVL\System3_build\ipl\bin\RVL\Final_EU2\main.elf

For 2.X is also different.. but.. I thinks isn't necessary to fix it.

I made a mod for just such a situation. It's called B.L.I.N.D.

apploader is not working. will not load any apps in the apps folder. Default out of the box setup. MMM works but i'd like to use wiimod.

wiimod hangs with the text display of the app i tried to launch.
