Gaming Wii loading problems

Hey, recently my Wii has had issues loading gamecube games unless I use a backup loader to run them. I have since then deleted the homebrew channel and the backup loader from my wii but I am still unable to load gamecube games. I am using 3.2 and I am wondering if it is safe to update my wii and if anyone else has had problems similar to this. Thanks for any help.

and to get your GC games to work you should update to 4.2 then install DARKCORP + cMIOS Rev 5 ( waninkoko ).

make sure you have brick protection.

I don't want to have my wii hacked anymore, it is my parents and I don't want to risk them somehow breaking it by deleting something.

EDIT: So would it be safe to update my Wii without risking it bricking?
