Wii laptop mod

its a very handy mod though i believe another system with integrated buttons would be more portable than carrying the wiimotes everywhere

I wonder if I could butcher a mote and make the buttons go on the outside and add an accelerometer to mimic the human movements at the Sensor Bar by tilting it. That way I could hold it like a real controller and just tilt the unit and play like I'm actually pointing it at the screen.

Only handheld fanatics would be interested in something like this. Which means it's a perfect match for me.

But the video doesn't really do this mod justice, as it makes the screen appear all bluish.

You could just use a laptop and run the Wii emulator.

More efficient and it wouldn't be embarrassing to carry around.

Although that will never pass as being "ultraportable," it is a neat mod. I do think the 360 laptop or the PS3 laptops by Ben Heck indisputably top this in the cool department.
