I tried installing PRELOADER v0.28 and now I have so strange issues.

The wii takes about 3-5 seconds longer to bootup, launching preloader kicks me back to the health screen, Gamma v0.3 produces an error.

1) How do I start from scratch? I have a US wii.

2) Is there a program that can help me fully uninstall system edits?

I tried doing searched on google but the only suggestion was to pop in Zelda Crossbow and use that to update my wii.

i suggest reinstalling preloader after you get it fixed. it can potentially save you from a brick

How does one "fix" this problem.

I should state this:

I followed the softmii guide, however I never created a hack.ini file or whatever on my sd car. I told the system to boot normally as if I didn't hack it, no this is happening.

I have no idea if you can install hacked updates, but according to my Wii (when I hold the y button at startup) it says I have a 3.2(USA) version.

Can I fix this by using a wad installer and this [http://hackmii.com/2008/05/semi-brick-fix-discs/]?

Is it better to just insert a disc with v3.2 update on it and start over?

Should I use the downgrader?

Do you have starfall installed? it seems so, because you said you had to press Y on your gc controller?
look up that one thread on how to make your wii a virgin or something

I would use ARC and upgrade to downgrade using any of the tutorials, update to 3.4, then down to 3.2to make sure all files are replaced etc and downgraded properly. then follow the guide for softmii again.
